PKN7 training will begin shortly: the destruction of an entire planet does not win you the right to lay about growing soft. I suggest doing these exercises on your own or in pairs in order to prepare for what's ahead. If you require assistance, either Shepard or myself will be on hand to provide it.
If you want a list of the names of your fellow cadets, I will supply it.
FROM: sun.aeryn@cdc.org

Hey thanks for volunteering to help make a shit ton of cake. Here is the recipe broken down into measurements I think everyone can understand. Its for a single cake so well be doubling this a bunch of times. We break this up into four batches of 50 small cakes and its done. You can thank Terra for spell checking and fixing my crap grammar on it.
Yes you read that right we are making bomb cake. I know this looks like a normal cake recipe. Thats because it is. But I wouldnt go licking any used spoons or sneaking a piece when its done. Like I said on the network I can enchant items and materials with one use fire spells and things with crystal-like properties hold spells best. Ive applied this to cooking and baking before and even though theres a chemical change the results are effective and they aint pretty. Ive already enchanted the sugar and salt with four different fire spells. It will be safe to use just not safe to eat. Hope you werent planning on eating any of it. Me and every one else will know if you try. Especially the medical crew.
And before anyone asks no I dont know what Dagger wants so much of this horror cake for but this is happening.
Come by the kitchens any time after 09:00 and Ill be there working. Dont come too late though or I wont enchant shit for you.
[Free food? This is the best day ever! By the time Maya thinks to send any note of thanks, the whole batch has probably already been scarfed down.] TO: hibari.kyoya@cdc.org FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org
Thank you for the cookies! They were really tasty. And you're right, they didn't poison me. They did make my stomach feel funny but that's just normal for if I eat too much sweet food.
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org I think the dangerous baked goods that Dagger was giving out are the ones I helped Jasper make. I feel really mad about that. :(
[ It's been a few days since assessments, but it's not a super easy thing to have dealt with. Wouldn't surprise him if people are still a little off-kilter.
Which is bad news, what with what's going on recently. Couldn't afford to be out of sorts right now. So he goes ahead and contacts... pretty much everybody. Or tries to, at least. ]
FROM: kirstein.jean@cdc.org Got your name from Gale. Maya, right? Pretty sure we were on Blue together.
FROM: kirstein.jean@cdc.org Wish I could say I was just calling to say hi, but in case you haven't heard, there's been some casualties around the ship. Keep your head down, don't wander alone, and check in with me so I know you're alive.
{ ooc: this is part of a mass call-out to all grays; please let me know if it inconveniences you and i'll be happy to delete! }
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org Yes, this is Maya. I'm checking in!
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org I did hear. Victims' bodies were found near to the medical wing, so I found out quickly. Do you know what it is that's doing these scary things?
If Garrus sent you then you're Tsuna Sawada, right? We need your help to keep the medical wing protected. But you're one of the new recruits, so do you know where to find us yet?
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org If you can't make rotations because of duties to your team, we understand. Just give Adrien, Anders or myself a heads up.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org In the meantime, if you come across anyone that wishes to help then feel free to point them our way. We need all the volunteers we can get.
[ ooc: You can find a catchall log relating to the medical squad here. ]
Edited (it would probably help if i didn't forget to add a link to the log) 2014-12-12 23:02 (UTC)
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org Oh, we're in the same rotation group. Neat!
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org Thank you for passing the information on. Medical is my priority right now so I'll be there, but I'll be careful to let you know if something else comes up.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org That's right, you're the only other member of the team in our rotation. So I'll need your help in getting the trainees up to speed with certain procedures, if that's alright with you.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org But thank you for your help, it's appreciated.
I do have orders. The mentors messaged all of us asking to help get all the equipment ready for transport and see to anybody who's injured.
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org
I'll be fine. I'll be with the ambulances or medical rover alongside the rest of the squad — so I'll have transport, and hopefully we'll manage to keep safe in a group. But, thank you! :)
FROM: ayling.maya@cdc.org
Everything's crazy dangerous out there right now, so be careful and stuff. We'll catch up when we're all back on the ship, for sure.
